Centered Services

Centered offers the highest level of psychiatric and therapeutic care to empower and assist members of our community in healing themselves and living full, meaningful, and connected lives. We strive to help people navigate the ebbs and flows of life to find their center.

Our goal is to facilitate and guide safe, connected, informed, and caring experiences for individuals, couples, and groups.

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy typically involves one client and one therapist. Together they work to understand the needs and concerns of the client and develop a strategy to address those needs. This is what is called a “person-centered approach” in therapy. There are many different schools of therapy. Most therapists are trained in numerous therapeutic techniques including Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS), among others.

Couples/Family Therapy

This approach involves a therapist and a couple and/or family members. There are multiple approaches that aim to strengthen family or couple dynamics and help the unit determine the goals and direction that best suits the members of the unit. Most often, communication issues are the most significant matter to be addressed, as well as visions about the nature and future of the relationships.

Group Therapy

Group therapy can take many forms. Groups can be open, meaning the members can come and go. Groups can also be closed, meaning that group membership is fixed. Fixed groups can be time-limited (e.g. 8 weeks, 6 months, etc.) or ongoing. Groups often have a specific purpose such as integration groups (e.g. after Ketamine Assisted Therapy), substance use groups, groups for survivors of trauma, medication groups, psychoeducation groups, and integrated health groups. Groups may use a variety of therapeutic modalities.

Ketamine Assisted Therapy

Ketamine Assisted therapy is one way to begin to support people who are suffering from conditions like depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use disorders. Treatments give a period of symptom relief which, when followed by appropriate therapy and integration, allows the person to change their relationship with themselves, with others, and with their lives. At Centered, we understand that individuals are part of a collective and healing is not a journey that can be taken alone. With this in mind, we offer both individual and group ketamine sessions.

Individual Ketamine Sessions

This offers clients a one-on-one guided ketamine assisted therapy session, including individual instruction, intention setting, and follow-up integration to maximize the effectiveness of the experience.

Group Ketamine Sessions

For clients who have experienced Individual Ketamine Assisted Therapy sessions, we offer clients the opportunity to connect with others who have familiar struggles. Individuals come out of the isolation of unwellness to work together toward the common goal of finding their own centers.
